Have you ever wanted to learn how to quilt? I have visited with a few shop owners (sewing and quilting) and hands down the sewing industry is up. Tell me why it was taken out of schools? I am enjoying teaching sewing and quilting. July 17th is Sew, Soak, and Snack day at 1pm. There are 2 slots open for the cute cactus pin cushion project ($25) and kits are still available for $5.
While in class you will be the first to learn of August's sewing project and be able to sign up then. August also will be the beginning of Quilt lessons. We will be learning how to piece and complete a "Split Rail"(two photos below, a very easy quilt pattern). The only thing you need to bring is your fabric (I can help you with that). Everything will be provided to help you complete your quilt top.YOU CAN HARDLY BEAT THAT!
This quilt is sew easy to make my husband made this one for his mom who was born on the 4th of July.
This quilt is the same pattern but with
"The eye of the tiger" peering at you.
I made another one with pumpkins in the upper panel and fall colors. Its with my October decorations in a box. The colorations are endless and I will help you every step of the way.
